A kid with koi

Statement: This drawing was for my English class assignment, I chose to make a drawing for a poem called "love elegy in the chinese garden with koi". I had limited time but I had the fun figuring out how to draw the trees and grass since I do not usually draw things like that. I drew a kid reaching their hands into the water while the koi gently kiss them. The saturated soft colors were supposed to give this piece a more childish or memory kind of look. (I really do not know how it turned out since I had been staring it for so long)
