Flying Away

Statement: This self portrait conveys how I feel parts of myself “flying away” due to academic overload. The main subject (the figure) is shown to be flying away like scraps of paper, illustrating the feeling of losing myself in part of studying and schoolwork. In the surreal concept and composition, the body of the figure is shown to be sinking into an ocean, representing how I feel “sinking in work”.
