Statement: “Wading” is a photo I took on a trip during the summer showing childlike innocence and a father’s love. Three figures are placed in the center of the composition, a father and his two daughters. The light falls deliberately on the father’s guiding hand, emphasizing the theme of parental care. The shadowed slipway in the foreground acts as a natural frame, guiding the eye toward the figures and intensifying the sense of joy.
